What is digg? Digg is a social bookmarking site. www.digg.com It is a very cool source for news and information, currently prodominently of a nerd / tech nature, but that will change over time.

The way it works is any individual can submit a news story (their’s or someone else’s). Then based on how many people digg the story (which makes it dugg) the story is promoted through the site until it reaches the front page.

Users can digg for stories and when they find one that is good, cool, interesting, etc. they can click the “digg” button. The story then becomes “dugg.” Another neat thing about the site is you can see what your friends have dugg. Here are my diggs.

In your user profile you can add friends and get a single rss feed for the diggs of all your friends. It is really slick and easy to use. They are making improvements to the site almost daily. Another cool thing is the developers are very visible and responsive on the site. Contact them with questions, problems and suggestions. You can also check out there diggs.
