Podcast Directories
Posted by Administrator on Sep 18, 2005
There are many podcast directories on the web today. In addition there are many podcast clients out there as well. I would like to point out one of my favorites. I have found it easy to use, quick to update and reliable. A major advantage of their directory is the searching. Unlike many sites where the search results are lousy, this site is on top of things. The search results are valid.
When looking for our podcast, I was able to find it using these keywords: “money well spent,” “winter12,” “john henderson,” “patrick stuart,” etc. Most directories bring up so many bogus results you can not easily find a podcast. If you can’t find your own easily, how are you going to find one a friend might have mentioned?
Bottom line, using Podfeed.net that has not been a problem. In fact, it has been very good.
Another major advantage is podfeed.net does not automatically add submitted podcasts, but rather they have a somewhat manual review process that seems to directly lead to the sites overall usefulness and success.
Vikings Game, Week 2

Geez! 27 to 0! Cincinatti is kicking Minnesota’s ass! Why even bother playing? What is the problem, do we need Moss back? I don’t think so, in fact, I think we should get rid of Dante. He can’t figure out how to check if more than one reciever is open.
He also seems to have troubles with figuring out which guys are on his team. Throwing 4 interceptions in the first 3 quarters!
Also, you can’t win a game with your defense playing most of the game! During the short amount of time to type this the Bangels intercepted the ball and scored another touchdown, 33 to 0! I need to just turn off the tv.
Podcasting Statistics

My podcast (with a few others) Money Well Spent, which is a Winter12 Production has been a lot of fun. I definately enjoy doing it. One point of frustration is accurately figuring out statistics as they pertain to listenership, subscribers, downloads, etc.

Firefox vs. Internet Explorer

What is better? I have been a firefox user for some time. I must say, I like it a lot better than internet explorer. Both are free, so price is not a factor. Some of the benefits of firefox include: tabbed browsing, it doubles as an rss reader, standards compliant, etc.
Unfortunately, there are still some sites that exist that really don’t work that well in anything except internet explorer. Most of these site can be tracked back to microsoft. Some of these sites include: www.microsoft.com, msdn.microsoft.com (until recently), any outlook web access, etc.
