Treehugger: Breakthrough in Biodiesel Production by Japanese Scientists
This is pretty cool. I am not sure what the future will bring; however, we need change. It is exciting to see research in directions like this one. With crude oil costs skyrocketting and supply is finite it is time to encourage, promote and sponsor alternative options.
Gamefly service deteriorate

Gamefly’s service continues to deteriorate.
Recently a game I rented failed to arrive. After taking days to identify the issue and of waiting for customer service to respond to the issue I reported they finally concluded they would send me another game. Unfortunately, they were unable to send the same game that was lost. They sent the next game from my queue.
Ultimately I am getting fed up. Days and weeks go by while I am paying for rentals but have no disks in my possesion.
Netflix

I have been using netflix for the past month and am really pleased. Talk about a great way to get reasonably priced movie rentals.
3 movies for $18 is $6 a movie per month. If you manage to turn those one during the month, you are down to $3 per rental. I cannot rent a dvd anywhere around her for 2 weeks for $3. Not to mention if you get new ones every week you can be down to $1.50! That is cheap and not having late fees is nice.
