News - The home of Spybot-S&D!

I am really getting frustrated with Symantec.  Over the last 12 months I have had nothing but bad experiences with Symantec.  They have provided poor service to me as both a commercial customer.  At the office we use have purchased and license for Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition.  I have experience poor support.  Speaking with technical support on multiple occasions about the same issue without satisfactory resolution.  I have experienced similar disappointment when dealing with my personal symantec product.

It seems to me that Symantec has grown a little to large for their own good.  They seem to have forgotten they are in part a service company.  As a consumer and technology user I rely on them being ethical about the functions of their product and the things they say about other software products.  Review the article listed below posted on Spybots’ homepage.  I encourage everyone to send a message to both the symantec individuals listed in the article.  Please do not resort to spam or other un-ethical responses, but Symantec needs to understand that this behavior is not acceptable.

Google Maps Now in High Res

Posted by Administrator on Jan 6, 2006

Google Maps is now providing high reselution images. Maps are getting so amazing. The imagery seems current in many if not all major metro areas. In Minneapolis, building are easily identifiable. The site performance does not seem to have been effected. I don’t know how google manages to keep doing things like this, but I am definately a fan.
