Wordpress - Another un-eventful upgrade

It is again time to give the guys over at wordpress praise. I just did the upgrade from 2.3.1 to 2.3.2 and as usual, it went off without a hitch. I love how both the little upgrades and the major upgrades are always easy, stable and reliable.
Anyone else having problems with the new Gmail?

Well, ever since I have been using the “newer Gmail” I am greeted by this screen:
Though it is not that big of a deal and I am always able to get into the site immediately after refreshing, it sure is annoying.

Well, I guess I am on the new version of gmail. Is this another beta? The previous version wasn’t ever out of beta.
Overall most things look the same. There seem to be a couple new options when a message is selected. You can now filter for messages like the one you are viewing / have selected. You can also mute a conversation. It is not all that clear how to un-mute a conversation. That can be done by moving the message back to the inbox after finding it in all mail.
To be honest, I have not found all that much in the “newer version” that is all that different or impressive. I was expecting a new skin with more ajax like functionality and it just doesn’t seem to be there.
Oh well, I still like my gmail.

Well, I finally got around to upgrading. Now running version 2.3.1
I am always amazed how easy WordPress upgrades are. I do not wish to jinq it, but I have never had one go bad.
Go work WordPress team!
Time for a new theme

Well, it has been a long time since the look has changed. The new theme, Blog Pixel Blue Edition 1.0 by Muhamad Fuad
The previous theme, equiX is a theme made for WordPress 1.5+ dsgn by m^r(oS. served me well and I liked it very much. Just a tip of caution. The theme did require lots of minor modification to make it work well across browsers.
The new them worked very well on load. It required a couple minor tweaks, one for the title when on the main page and another for titles on all other pages. There is still a minor bug in the search box, but I will have to take a look at that one a little later.
