Superb high resolution wallpapers (up to 2560×1600)

An excellent source for free backgrounds, sorted by user rating. The images are available in all common resolutions, from 2560×1600 down to 1024×768, and are very diversely themed.

This is probably the best collection of high resolution images I have found. The only down side is none of them are setup for 1400×1050 :( Oh well, many of them scale well or can be cropped.

AOL Search User #4417749 Identified

Ms. Arnold, who agreed to discuss her searches with a reporter, said she was shocked to hear that AOL had saved and published three months’ worth of them. “My goodness, it’s my whole personal life,” she said. “I had no idea somebody was looking over my shoulder.”

AOL, how did you think this would not happen eventially!!! This was not a stretch of the imagination that this happened. Hmmm…what is next. A slue of lawsuits?

Lenovo Group Posts 89% Drop in Profit

The Lenovo Group, the world’s No. 3 personal computer maker, said first-quarter profit fell 89% on rising competition from Dell & HP, and costs from cutting jobs at the PC unit it bought from I.B.M.

I don’t know too much about Lenovo as a company; however, this is very concerning. I have long felt that IBM manufactured the best notebook computers for business users and I believe Lenovo has continued that tradition having bought a couple since the sale of that IBM unit. I hope things can be turned around without diminishing the quality of product they provide.

Gallery of stunning digital photography with tutorials

This guy uses a very scientific approach to photography with wonderful results. The site is packed with technical data and tutorials which provide practical “how to” information for any digital photographer, but a visit to the gallery is worthwhile for anyone.

Well, the images are not exactly my cup of tea; however, the tutorials are interesting and worth a look.
