Google Click-to-Call. Good Idea?
Posted by Administrator on Nov 25, 2005
Google continues to improve their Google Click-to-Call advertising services. Is it an improvement? Do web customers really want to talk to the advertiser?
I think it could be a good additional option when purchasing or checking out Google advertisers. I definately support the fact that the customer does not pay anything for this service. Google claims to be coving 100% of the cost; however, I wonder how much Google is indirectly charging advertisers.

Take a look at the Google offices. I think these are from their new offices in London. Funonthenet - Inside Google’s Office!
Maybe any company can be just as successful as Xerox if they set the offices up like Google’s.
Google’s Domination of the Internet

Robert Cringley at the PBS might be on to something. Naming Google as Google-Mart, begins to put Google’s entire corporation into context. Google, focusing on their strengths and adequately utilizing their resources could become the internet that we all use in the future.
I personally would really like to see one of Google’s mobile datacenters first hand. The idea of mobile data centers is not new; however, it has never been done to this extreme before. Couple that with the access to fiber all around the world and Google certainly could take over. The idea of distributing web content across their own fiber network to local data centers feeding top level ISPs would dramatically improve the web’s performance.
Even more impressive and potentially scary is how much information google would have access to. Google has already developed gigantic data libraries on millions of people. With more localized access to end users, those libraries would only grow.
Google Sidebar

I have been using Google’s Sidebar for a few weeks now integrated with Desktop Search 2. I love it, it is really convenient and very customizable. I was concerned that it might carry with it to much overhead, but that has not been the case.
It is a great way to get news, stock info, monitor email, monitor google talk, etc.
Google is taking over the world, we may as well embrace it!
